UDPL has successfully carried out the design, supply, testing and commissioning of Automated Storage and Retrieval System(ASRS) Projects at Naval Dockyard(Vizag), Ship Building Centre(Vizag) and at Material Organisation(Goa).
ASRS is an advanced and automated technology that stores and retrieves heavy objects from designated storage racks within a warehouse.
Automated storage and retrieval systems reduce the variable cost of operations by reducing the need for manual labor for tasks such as picking, storing, assembly and inventory replenishment.

The project envisaged construction of 45 no. of quarters for Officers, JCOs and other ranks. The facility included BT roads, overhead
tank, water supply, internal and external electrification and a playground. The turnkey project was successfully completed & handed over within the stipulated time.

Automation of Fuel Complex at ND (V)
Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of “Revitalization/ Automation of Fuel Complex” at Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. The design included critical tasks like automation of all Tank gauging, Inventory management and terminal balancing, process instrumentation, customized software application for reporting operations management and optimisation.

LSHSD FFO AUTOMATED FUEL COMPLEX AT ND(V)
The entire facility was designed, developed and constructed on a turnkey basis. The scope included creation of 17 mtrs. high building for the Gas Turbine Test Bed and all the associated facilities which includes underground fuel storage tanks, firefighting system, surveillance system and various controls. This facility also has a captive power generation plant and HP Air compressor. We have executed this challenging project successfully with indigenous control systems for the Gas Turbine.
